Online Session on Audit, Litigation, Slump Sale, Merger, De-merger and Trade Remedies under GST/Trade Policies
The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an Online Session on Audit, Litigation, Slump Sale, Merger, De-merger and Trade Remedies under GST/Trade Policies on 5th August, 2021 on Zoom.
Introductory Address was given by Mr T. B. Chatterjee, Chairperson – Indirect Taxes Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Partner, TCN Global and Economic Advisory Services LLP.
He addressed the 1st Technical Session on impact of GST on Slump Sale, Merger, De-merger and the available trade remedies.
The 2nd Technical Session covered 4 years of GST- how it flared and look back with major issues which are still open. Mr. M. S. Mani, Co Chairperson - Indirect Taxes Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Partner, Deloitte India deliberated at the 2nd Technical Session.
Departmental perspectives on GST Audit & GST Litigations Processes was shared by Mr. N. C. Guriya, Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Government of West Bengal in the 3rd Technical Session.
The Technical Sessions were followed by interactions with the participants. The Online Session on GST was attended by close to 30 delegates.
