The Socio-Economic Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) organized a Session titled Online Panel Discussion on The Unheard Stories of The Pandemic 2020 -21 on Friday, 18th June 2021 at 4 p.m. on Virtual Platform. 

The objective of this panel discussion was to hear the story of “us” and to listen to the journey of these real-life heroes, organizations who are facing this crisis situation with courage and selflessness. 

The session was moderated by the Chamber secretariat. Mrs. Anamika Roy Rashtrawar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IffcoTokio General Insurance Company Limited was the Guest of Honour of the session. The Panel Discussion of the session comprised of distinguished panelists like Ms. Bratati Bhattacharyya, Secretary General, Shikshayatan Foundation and Shri Shikshayatan School, Dr. Arundhati Chakraborty, Senior Consultant, Oncologist and Palliative Care Specialist, HOD, Dept. of Radiation Oncology, Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Mr. Anilava Chatterjee, Director, Greymind Communication Pvt. Ltd and Ms. Sucharita Basu, Partner Aquilaw and Co- Chairperson, Socio Economic Committee, BCC&I. 

The Panel Discussion had an over-whelming response and the total number of delegates comprising of Industry, academia, experts, etc was 450 plus approximately. 

The Panel Discussion was an eye-opener for the delegates present as it created a platform to hear about the Success stories of the Covid Warriors who are trying to save and protect the Society at large by combating this Covid situation.
