The Skill Development Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry had organized “The Budding Genius- National Level Online Quiz Contest for School Students” one of the leading online competitions held on 14th, 21st and 28th of August 2021 in 3 rounds.

A brief about the Quiz

As we know that children are the future of a nation and are the future masterminds who will design a new INDIA, but these booming minds were unfortunate to stay within four walls since last one year due to pandemic situation. But every misfortune comes with an inherent hope and future opportunities. Kids have become passionately internet friendly like never before and their exposures through net have made them more aware of the world in general. So we thought that this is the right time to assess their awareness around a variety of interesting topics. 

In the first session we assessed overall awareness of the candidates. The quiz touched all the topics like sports, entertainment, travel, food to current affairs, and every domain which excited young generation. Parallelly it empowered young minds to learn diversified topics that will later help them to compete for variety of sought-after careers. 

The quiz was highly appreciated by esteemed schools, guardians and students. It was a great fun for the students. We had received more than 3500 registration from all over India. Quiz was divided into three segments- Group A- Class 5 to 8, Group B- 9 & 10 and Group C- 11 & 12. Successful candidates were awarded as Gold, Silver and Bronze medal.

Immense success of this quiz inspires us and we will be organizing many more quizzes in near future.
