The Skill Development Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Fooza Foods Pvt. Ltd. organized a virtual session on “Technical App Update Session for Riders” on 12th July 2021. The session commenced with an introductory address by Mr. Kumar Shivam, Associate Director – Strategy and Business Development, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Moderator of the session Ms. Paromita Ghosh, Director, Candid Communication then requested Mr. Subrata Dutta, Chairperson of The Skills Development Committee of BCC&I and Managing Director, The George Telegraph Group to convey his welcome address. Mr. Dutta mentioned in his address that The Skill Development Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry always encourages programs around skilling and up-skilling of human resources. In this context, The Skill Development Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Fooza Foods Pvt. Ltd. hosted the session, so that it becomes easier for them to receive and manage their orders and deliveries. This workshop was of benefit for all workforce and organizations dealing with newly boomed online delivery industry. In his keynote address, Mr. Dibyendu Banerjea, the Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Director of Fooza Foods Private Limited highlighted the importance of up-skilling of riders or delivery boys who had served effortlessly during the pandemic period. Then Mr. Kapil Lohia, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer of Fooza Foods Private Limited, engaged riders in a very impressive and interactive technical session from Vancouver, Canada. The session was well attended and appreciated by relevant stakeholders from skilled workforce, Industry and Media.
