The Skill Committee of the Bengal Chamber conducted a Film & Theatre Acting Workshops for Children along with George Telegraph Film and Television Institute. The 10 days’ workshop which commenced on the 29th of May had 45 students as participants. There were two batches of Film and two batches of theatre. The master classes of the Theatre were conducted my Mr. Arno Mukhopadhyay a very renowned theatre personality and the master classes of the films were conducted by Mr. Biplab Dasgupta and Mr. Bhaswar Chatterjee. The workshops have been extremely well appreciated. Each child performed on the 11th day and was given marks on their performance. The programme, though online, was extremely successful. Participation was not only from Kolkata but other parts of West Bengal and India as well. The enthusiasm of the children during the final performance is extremely noteworthy. Each child will be handed over a certificate of participation very soon.
