The hospitality committee of The Bengal Chamber conducted the webinar The Future of Hospitality in the Next Normal on the 11th of August 2021. The webinar was moderated by Dr. Suborno Bose, Chairperson of the Hospitality Committee of The Bengal Chamber and Chief Mentor, International Institute of Hotel Management. The speakers were Diwan Gautam Anand, Former Executive Vice President, ITC Hotels and Founding Trustee,Cuisine India Foundation, Mr. A.D. Singh, Managing Director, Olive Group of Restaurants, Mr. Raju Bharat Managing Director Kenilworth Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Shekhar Mukherjee, General Manager, TAJSATS Air Catering Limited and Mr. Sumeet Suri, General Manager, JW Marriott Kolkata. Each speaker spoke about how the Hospitality Industry is slowly but steadily bouncing back and how it will be in the future.

Each speaker answered to few questions asked by Dr. Bose and also shared their views on what the future has in store for the industry as they perceive. They also spoke about the changes which have been implemented and few changes which have been made. 

In a fireside chat with Diwan Gautam Anand, few prominent people from the industry asked questions which he answered and gave insights on the current situation and how the industry can overcome. 

Overall, it was an extremely engaging session which attracted some encouraging comments on the social media.
