The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with Science and Technology Entrepreneurs’ Park, IIT Kharagpur (STEP) organized a 3 day workshop on Heat Treatment Technology and it’s implication in the relevant industry. The following topic has been covered during the 3 day workshop led by Professor (Dr.) Siddhartha Das, Managing Director, Science and Technology Entrepreneurs’ Park.

• Introduction to TTT & CCT diagrams 
• Introduction to basic heat treatment processes:

• Surface modification 
• Heat treatment of stainless steels 
• Heat treatment of Tool steels 
• Heat treatment of Cast Irons 
• Principles of heat treatment of some nonferrous alloys 

There were Total 38 participants attended the workshop from different manufacturing stream and organization.
