The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with JIS University, organized the 10th edition of the Chamber’s Technology Quiz-an Inter College Quiz Fest.  The Preliminary Round of the Quiz was held virtually on 20th February 2021 with the participation of approximately over 800 students from across various institutes of Eastern India and beyond. The Final Round with 11 successful students from among 800 was held physically on 27th February 2021 at JIS University Campus. The target audiences for this Quiz were Technology students in their Bachelors and/or Masters within the age group of 18-25 years. 

The Chamber had successfully organized Tech Quiz in the past years from 2009 to 2020 and has embarked on this initiative to reenergize youths about Quizzing. Like the previous years, this edition of the tech quiz was a successful affair as well. However, unlike previous years, this year’s quiz was held with individual participants instead of teams. 

Mr. Auritro Chowdhury and Mr. Kingshuk Biswas, the Quiz Masters, for both the days showed great enthusiasm and made the Quiz an exciting affair. The program was well received by the participants. 

The winner of the quiz was a student of IIT Kharagpur while the position of first runner up was held by Heritage Institute of Technology and NIT Jamshedpur stood as second runner up. Fourth, fifth and sixth positions were held by Jadavpur University, Guru Nanak Institute of Technology and Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra respectively. 

The final round of the quiz was graced by eminent Industry leaders who also handed over the prizes to the winners of the quiz. `20,000 was given as prize money to the winner, 1st runner up `15,000, Second runner up `10,000 and 3 consolation prizes of `3,000 each. The entire event received excellent media coverage which was published in leading Bengali dailies. 

The quiz was streamed in the social media platforms as well as in Youtube. The social media (Facebook) participation of the final round of this Quiz is as follows:

• Engagements - 689 

*Total impressions include each viewer viewing the content a number of times. It does not mean number of persons
