The Third Edition of BCC&I Heritage Walk in association with Rotary International District 3291, 6th March 2021, Physical
The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the third edition of the Heritage Walk in association with Rotary International District 3291, executed by Rotary Club of Ballygunge, on 6th March 2021, 7.30 a.m. onwards.
The walk began with a formal round of briefing by Shri G M Kapur, Chairperson, Heritage Committee of BCC&I along with Ms. Reshmi Chatterjee, Co-Chairperson, Heritage Committee, BCC&I. The walk was attended by 20 senior representatives of Rotary Ballygunge including the District Governor of Rotary International Shri Sudip Mukherjee.
The Walk started from The Bengal Chamber - Calcutta Gallery – proceeded southwards Eastern Railway HQ - Fairlie Place GPO - turn westwards Bankshall Court - Hare Street to Church Lane High Court Assembly House Town Hall Treasury Buildings - turn left to Council House Street St John's Church Raj Bhavan Standard Insurance Bldg Dead Letter Office Currency Building St. Andrew's Kirk Writers Building/Lal Dighi Stock Exchange – and ended with Breakfast at BCC&I. Mr. G M Kapur, Chairperson, Heritage Committee along with Ms Reshmi Chatterjee, Co-Chairperson, Heritage Committee, conducted the walk.
