The Education Committee of the Bengal Chamber organized the 3rd Edition of The Annual Education Conclave 2020 on the 9th & 10th of October 2020. The theme of the conclave was N.E.P. - Indian Education’s New World Order.  The conclave was a huge success and had various National and international stalwarts who spoke in the conclave over two days.

The Vision of the National Education Policy:

“The National Education Policy 2019 envisions an India-centered education system that contributes directly to transforming our nation sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all”. 

This Policy envisages creation, transmission, and dissemination of knowledge as a part of the continuum. The NEP is ambitious and futuristic but much of its success will depend on how it is executed. 

Keeping these in mind the Chairperson of the Drafting Panel, National Education Policy, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, was invited in the conclave as the Iconic Keynote Speaker. He was also presented with the “Hall of Fame” Award in the conclave.

The conclave though online, was a huge success. The various Segments in the conclave were Vice Chancellors’ Round Table, N.E.P. 2020 Decoded, School Administrators’ Perspective on N.E.P, Foreign University Education Fraternity’s views on N.E.P., Effect of N.E.P on Preschool Education.
