“Union Budget 2021-22: An In-Depth Analysis”, 2nd February 2021, Virtual Platform


The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with Dhruva Advisors LLP, organized a Virtual Session on “Union Budget 2021-22: An In-depth Analysis” on 2nd February 2021 on a specially designed e-platform focusing on the detailed analysis and discussion on the proposals presented in the Union Budget 2021-22. 

The Chamber’s Overview on Union Budget 2021-22 was presented by Mr. Deb A Mukherjee, President, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Managing Director, Cenergist Energy Private Limited. Mr. Dinesh Kanabar, CEO, Dhruva Advisors LLP, presented the views on the Union Budget 2021-22 on behalf of Dhruva Advisors LLP.

The 1st Session was on Economic Perspectives on Union Budget 2021-22. The Session was chaired by Mr. Sumit Bose, Chairperson, Economic Affairs Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Former Revenue Secretary, Government of India. Other distinguished Panelists were Dr. Pinaki Chakraborty, Director, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, Prof. Abhirup Sarkar, Professor of Economics, Indian Statistical Institute and Chairman, WBIDFC and Dr. Shiladitya Chatterjee, Former Member, Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Adviser, Centre for Sustainable Development Goals, Government of Assam.
